Shanghai/Suzhou. On June 22, 2017, Porsche Centre Suzhou Wuzhong opened with a grand celebration. As the second Porsche Centre in Suzhou, it further consolidates Porsche’s development in East China and underlines the brand’s value in this potential market. Mr. David Xiao, Vice President Sales of Porsche China; Mr. Cai Yingjie, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors & CEO of Yongda Group; and Mr. Flag Zhang, General Manager of Porsche Centre Suzhou Wuzhong, along with guests and journalists attended the ceremony to witness this memorable event.

Porsche Centre Suzhou Wuzhong is spread across 10,133 square metres and includes a state-of-the-art showroom that is capable of simultaneously displaying 18 Porsche sports cars. The service centre consists of 19 work bays and 3 direct dialogue bays, and is equipped with world-leading diagnostic and repair equipment. Porsche Centre Suzhou Wuzhong also boasts a professional sales and after-sales team, providing best-in-class global standards of service for every Porsche customer.

“Since 2015, China has surpassed USA and continues to remain Porsche’s largest single market worldwide. In 2017, we are on track for another successful year and are steadily moving towards our established goal with positive sales figures.” said Mr. David Xiao. He also stressed that Porsche’s innovative new products, steady expansion of its dealership network, completion of the world's largest Porsche Training Centre in Shanghai, and the establishment of China’s first official Porsche Club strongly underscore Porsche's commitment to the Chinese market.

Porsche Centre Suzhou Wuzhong is the first Porsche Centre invested by the Yongda Group in Suzhou. Mr. Flag Zhang said, “The Yongda Group’s cooperation with Porsche China began eight years ago in 2009. Over the years, in association with Porsche China, the Yongda Group has cultivated an experienced team of professionals with a deep understanding of the Porsche brand. I believe that this is the cornerstone of the future development of Porsche Centre Suzhou Wuzhong.”

Greeting the guests at the opening ceremony was the legendary racing car, the Porsche 911 GT1 from the Le Mans race track, which was displayed in Suzhou for the first time. Just over the last weekend, Porsche created history once again by winning the 24 hours of Le Mans for the 19th time.
