David Xiao Appointed Vice President Sales of Porsche ChinaFurther strengthening sales planning and management
Shanghai. Porsche is pleased to announce that Mr. David Xiao has been appointed Vice President Sales of Porsche China, effective immediately. Mr. Michael Kirsch, the former COO of Porsche China, whose responsibilities also included sales management, will take the charge of another market. Porsche China thanked Mr. Kirsch for his unstinting dedication and substantial contribution during his tenure.
Having around 27 years of experience in premium automobile retail, marketing, and dealership operations both in China and abroad, Mr. Xiao demonstrates expertise especially in dealership development, i.e. increasing sales volume, and improving customer satisfaction and loyalty. He will take overall responsibility for boosting sales of Porsche China by sales planning for all models and formulating sales strategies.
Mr. Xiao began his career with Porsche in 2010 as the General Manager of Porsche Centre Shanghai Pudong, which is owned and directly operated by Porsche China. Under Mr. Xiao’s effective leadership, the Porsche Centre has dominated the top volume dealer for four consecutive years except 2012, when it was honoured a second place, which fully shows his exceptional ability in sales management.
“I am delighted to have David Xiao take charge of sales for Porsche China,” said Mr. Franz Jung, President and Chief Executive Officer of Porsche China. “His rich experience of dealership management and familiarity with the Chinese premium automobile market will be a tremendous asset to strengthen the sales of Porsche China.”
